Join us for the second annual Greenwich 2012 FOOD+WINE FESTIVAL. Fairfield and Westchester Counties’ Culinary Best come together for this 6.3 Acre Gourmet Festival!
The Opening Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 4 and will include an elegant evening of wine tasting with paired hors d’oeuvres and a fabulous wine-themed silent auction.
On Friday, October 5 the Grand Tasting Gala will present the festival’s Featured Chefs serving a most divine menu, elite wineries serving their top wines and an exclusive live auction. This enchanting evening will include an incredible live performance TBA (Natasha Bedingfield performed in 2011).
On Saturday, October 6 the Culinary Village will offer grand, savory tastings and intriguing demonstrations from more than 90 exclusive food, wine and spirit vendors. Guests will also enjoy Celebrity Chef and Featured Chef cooking demonstrations, an Amateur Cook-Off, wine sommelier presentations, a Beer Garden, celebrity book signings, and more. The evening will include a Burger Smack-Down, samplings from BBQ Pit Masters, and more live music (last year included Sister Hazel and Rusted Root). Throughout the day, there will also be a Festival VIP Tent equipped with a private lounge, full bar, elite wines, specialty treats, as well as private restrooms.
The Greenwich 2012 FOOD+WINE FESTIVAL is a charity event. One hundred percent of the net proceeds benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
Culinary Village At the heart of the Festival, the Culinary Village Tents will offer grand, savory tastings and intriguing demonstrations from more than 90 exclusive food, wine and spirit stations.
BBQ Pit Masters’ Tent This hot spot is perfect for grilling enthusiasts! Guests will meet grill masters and sample special bites fresh off the grills.
Live Demonstration Tent Watch, learn, and enjoy, as our outstanding line-up of celebrity guests and featured local chefs demonstrate their skills in this intimate setting.
Concert Stage Guests will enjoy incredible musical performances TBA. (2011 Festival featured Rusted Root, Sister Hazel, EnTrain, Karen Zimmer, & Remember September)
Serendipity VIP Tent VIP ticket holders will have access to this private lounge, including full bar, elite wines and gourmet treats. There are also private restrooms.
Grand Tasting Gala Tent Wander the elegant clear tent with view of the Long Island Sound as you watch some of the area's top chefs prepare decadent dinner tastings. Guest will also enjoy some of the world's finest wines and spirits. Top it off with a special performance by TBD. (2011 Gala featured NATASHA BEDINGFIELD)
Book Signings
Books will be available for purchase. Celebrity Chefs will be available to greet, meet and sign their books.
